Public Meeting #1: Orleans
Southern Indiana Trailways and its partners conducted a public meetings with the communities along the Monon South Trail (Lawrence, Orange, Washington, and Clark Counties in Indiana) to involve community members in the trail development process.

Community Meetings
Following the public kick-off meetings in Orleans and Salem, the design team facilitated the first round of community workshops in the four urbanized communities along the corridor. The purpose of the workshops was to discuss how each community connects to the trail, community desires for access and/or trailhead amenities, and a discussion on the preliminary design standards for the project.

Input Sessions
The National Park Service and the Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands collaborated to collect feedback regarding two important initiatives occurring in your town: The development of a park system master plan and the South Monon trail.
